GODA KASPERAITYTE

I am a second year fashion design student at the University of Northampton. I consider myself creative and ambitious person. Back in Lithuania I have graduated from Fine arts school and I also attended short introduction course to fashion design in Kaunas university of Technology. I see fashion as an art form. I admire Avant-garde designers, such as Yohji Yamamoto, Martin Margiela. I admire fashion so much because i believe, it is a visual communication, that allows us to express ourselves without saying anything. While working with a team we were generating innovative ideas. Our work reflects modern society’s issues such as self-destructive behaviours.

I am a fashion and textiles design student at Northampton university. I particularly admire avant garde fashion designers when they push the boundaries of what fashion is, my style is streetwear but I will always mix it to make it unique. Unique styles are what pushes me to expand my knowledge and creativity. Where there is a will there is a way, and my team will always find a solution when times look tough.

TAMSIN BRIDDON

I am a second year footwear and accessories design student. I have a passion for history, art and innovative design. My volunteer work at the Shoe Museum has allowed access to both historical and cutting edge ideologies, something I now strive for in all that I create. I am highly influenced by designers such as Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen, due to their bold and individual statements, and their involvement in social messaging. As a team we have worked together to bring you a collaborative range, that is both forward thinking and representative of the destruction happening in the world today.
