Picking a theme for a collection is always a tricky yet emotional step for young designers. Multiple ideas being flown around until eventually everyone in the team makes the final decision. We choose Chernobyl due to the massive impact it had on the residence, environment and wildlife throughout a span of 30 years. Even till this day, the effects of the nuclear disaster still haunts the remains of what was a thriving town. We were influence by the HBO TV series Chernobyl  which showed us a surreal understanding of what really happened during the disaster. It previewed the challenges and difficulties families and the serves faced on an event that was highly unexpected. In the Early stages of 2020, there were media talks about wars and cyber wars between US and Iran so our understanding were to look back into the past in order for us to understand the possible outcomes of what is to come if the US was to start war.
